Privacy Policy
Your photos never leave your device. Kapturae has no accounts, no cookies and no trackers, and our web server is set up not to keep access logs.
Your photos stay on your device
Taking photos, editing them, and making the final print, GIF and ZIP all happen inside your browser. No photo, GIF frame or sticker is ever uploaded to Kapturae's servers.
Camera
Camera access is used only inside your browser, to show the preview and take your photos. The camera image isn't sent anywhere. The Camera Permission page has the details.
Browser storage
So a reload doesn't lose your work, the current session (your photos, the short bursts used for the GIF, stickers you add and your edits) is kept in this site's storage in your browser: session storage and IndexedDB. The browser also keeps a copy of the app's own files so it works offline. None of this is sent to us.
Clearing your data
Starting a new session, or leaving one with the close button, clears its data. Closing the tab ends the session, and anything it left behind is removed the next time you open Kapturae in the same browser. You can clear everything at any time by deleting this site's data in your browser settings. The Deleting Your Data page explains how.
Our server
Kapturae is hosted on a server (VPS) we rent from WLJ-Cloud. It only sends the app's files to your browser. As with any website, your browser sends your IP address and browser details to receive those files. Our web server is set up not to keep access logs, so we don't record them. The connection passes through WLJ-Cloud's network, which we don't control.
Third parties
Kapturae uses no analytics, advertising, error tracking or payment services, and loads nothing from other websites: fonts and icons come from our own server. When you use Share, the file goes to the app you choose, and that app's own policy applies.
Your rights
We don't collect your photos or any personal data, so there is nothing of yours on our side to access, correct or delete. If you have a question about your privacy, contact us.
Changes
If the way Kapturae handles data changes, this page is updated first and the date above changes with it.
